I have been looking all around nexus to find a mod to do this, but none existed. So, I tried making my own. With no avail. I reached out to some peeps, the best method was given to me by a user who shant be named (Corsafire1) and he gave me the files for how he did it on his end. However, the files didn't work for me. So I made a "special snow folder" which magically got them working (presumably to do with blended roads).
Anywho, my intent was to not remove roads completely, just those bulky, janky, bulbous stand out and look at your toes in the eyes kinda nasty meshes. So, here it is folks, welcome to the premier of "cleaner roads"...
I have uploaded 2 files. Only choose one to download. If that one doesn't work, remove mod & install the other. Completely safe to uninstall as it just replaces meshes. Shouldn't cause any CTDs.
Compatibility:
Should be compatible with all. Make sure it overwrites ALL files in your left pane. Otherwise, you may still see old meshes. I suggest using MO2 as that's my personal fav.
Screenshots are what the mod looks like with Blended Roads.
