About this mod

A simple Guide to edit CGO's hitframes, much like what Retimed Hitframes does.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
As some of you may know, Retimed Hitframes does not work properly with CGO not matter what you do, the 1hm attack always hit too early. which is unfortunate bacause vanilla hitframes are pretty bad, it becomes very noticeble when you use those parry or timed block mods.

Dservant said that he would look into this, but seems to be away from modding for quite some time. So I had the idea of trying to come up with a fix myself. after struggling to learn how to use Skyrim Behavior tool for a few weeks, I reach out to NickaNak for some help, and he kindly showed me how to directly look for the hitframe event in CGO's nemesis file itself, without the need of going through ZBT. I tested it with slowtime effect and I am positive that it works.

I tried contacting Dservant ealier this week and ask for permission to post this patch but did not get a response so far, so here is a Guide on how to do it yourself.

 I may uplaod the actual patch once i get the permission, but the fix is so simple and dont need any fancy tool, anyone can do it under 1 minute.

Requirement:

CGO for the base file (duh..)
Notepad or anything that allows you to edit a txt file

yeah thats all you need, nothing fancy

Details about the fix (and how to change it yourself):

There is a total of 5 files that has hitframe event in CGO, namely #dscgo$16, 467, 481, 559 and 745. You can find them in Data/Nemesis_Engine/mod/dscgo/1hm_behavior.
If you open them with notepad, and search for "<hkparam name="id">36</hkparam>", you will see the hitframe time right abow the search result. like this:

<hkobject>
<hkparam name="localTime">0.367000</hkparam>
<hkparam name="event">
<hkobject>
<hkparam name="id">36</hkparam>

all I did was change the 0.367 to 0.483.
dscgo$467 and 559 shows 0.8 instead, I believe this is the hit frame for 2 handing a 1hm weapon, so i changed it to 0.824. I personally dont use change grip, and the edit doesnt change much, so i couldnt really tell for sure.

if you have some custom attack animation that dosent fit well with the new hitframe, try changing the numbers and test it yourself.

remember to run Nemesis after youve done editing the file to update the hitframes. Keep a backup of these files
