Kindly ported by MeisterB at the request of ForRedwall.

--Installation--
Copy the contents of the Data folder into your Skyrim SE Data folder ProgramFiles/Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim special edition/data . This is important, even if you use a mod manager, as apparently SSE can fail to load a mod if the .esp is not in the Data folder.
Once all files are installed, use whatever mod management tool you have (be it the default in-game system, Nexus Mod Manager or other) (or even manually change plugins.txt like I do) and activate SolitudeUnderArch.esp somewhere near the bottom of your load order (although it doesn't really matter).

--Description--
Solitude Under Arch came about partly as a good way to pass the time, and partly because I wasn't really satisfied with Solitude expansions, with the bulk of them often going overboard and losing a vanilla feel (something I desire in my Skyrim). The only one that didn't do too much (and took an age to find) stank of being an early Skyrim mod, complete with dirty edits and *Shudders*, DELETED vanilla references!, which is a massive modding no-no. So, that's when I decided to actually get SUA finished (at first it was really just a time waster and excuse to play around in the CK).

----Notes----
*3 New Shops, including a Bakery, Builder's Merchant (Hardware Store, basically somewhere to get Hearthfire building materials reliably and in decent quantity), and a fishery.

*A New dock area with 2 fully-crewed ships, one large, one small. Solitude is supposed to be the biggest port in Skyrim, and vanilla it's barely better than Windhelm with the only the large Red Wave setting it apart.

*3 New Houses.

*17 new NPCs of assorted races, because for the Imperial capital of Skyrim, Solitude was laughably bad for non-human races.

*Little bits of Backstory for each NPC told via journals and notes, but no new dialogue I'm afraid.

*No "Essential" NPCs! This means every NPC can die, however, NPCs that have a service or take a stroll out of the confines of Solitude are "Protected", meaning only Player can kill them, just in case they get into a fight with something (Dragon attack for example) that isn't Player.

----Update Information----
V1.0 - Initial Release.
V1.01 - Rebuilt the Navmesh of several exterior cells. Should fix the bakery stairs NPC clumping and several pathing issues regarding the over-land portions of the docks.
           - Fixed some very minor problems in some of the Journals/Notes found in SUA.

----Potential Bugs----
*Shouldn't clash with any mods unless those mods happen to occupy the space under Solitude's Arch OR delete the references used for certain AI packages (included in the download as the image "VanillaEdits1.png").
*The NPC pathing on the docks is a little odd especially during combat, this is unfortunately the result of NPCs piling on NPCs which will get them stuck in peculiar places. Although NPCs chasing Player may have a few issues on the docks due to how the vanilla pathfinding is on such areas (this is the same pathing logic that gets NPCs stuck on trees/rocks/etc and go round the mountain rather than the one little ledge. In combat (should you choose to go murder spree there could be issues, but considering the "Stand on a Rock" trick is a vanilla one, I'm not to blame for gimping the poor AI pathing)).

----If you have Bugs----
*Contact me with either a Nexus Comment, or a Nexus Bug Report (Please also comment to alert me to the bug report, as the mod management UI on the Nexus only displays Comments with a "Last Comment At: DAY HH:MM" stamp), describe the bug in as much detail as possible (but don't bother with load orders unless requested as part of the diagnosis process), and I will see what I can do.

----Contacting----
Just leave a comment on the Nexus. My mods are nowhere near popular enough to have too many comments to read.
