Did you know the Bard's College quest didn't originally end with the Burning of King Olaf?
Originally completing that would unlock an additional quest for Giraud Gemane, where you would be tasked with collecting poems from various bards around Skyrim to complete the new Poetic Edda.
After some of struggling, I have now restored that quest. Talk to Giraud after completing Tending the Flames to get the quest, then talk to any five Bards throughout Skyrim to get their Edda pieces.
I've tried to be as faithful as I could to Bethesda's original intent for this quest.
The one thing I was forced to add were inventory items for the Edda pieces (sadly not readable, there's no indication that Bethesda had anything planned for that) and the ending loot (leveled gold and a speechcraft bonus), because there's no clue in the game files what loot was actually intended.
Compatibility:
Might conflict with mods that directly alter dialog during Tending the Flames, as the script to start this quest is attached to Viarmo’s ending dialog.
Load after mods like USSEP, Cutting Room Floor, Become a Bard, Bards Reborn, and Vanilla Plus Writing Purity Patch if you're using any of them.
