I found that when using Embers XD and ELFX, some fire, smoke, and light assets are annoyingly persistent - no matter how I altered my load order they wouldn't go away. I don't know about you. But, I do not like stopping mid game to disable, move, or edit objects as I play. I prefer to have all that stuff resolved before I start a new game. I figure other moders might think the same way, so I decided to share these little patches for EEK's Belethors General Goods Overhaul SSE.
Embers XD: Embers XD replaces vanilla fire sources. The vanilla fire pit's fire remained. Instead of being in its pit, it is burning on a rug and blowing smoke up to the rafters (see pics). This patch address that issue.
Enhanced Lights and FX : After I resolved the Embers XD's fire and smoke, I reloaded the game to see that the smoke was still there. After some poking around, I discovered it was related to ELFX. This patch addresses that issue.
Used SSEEdit to flag all the .esp files as .esl
Simply download and install through your mod manager.
