About this mod

This seeks to address some major shortcomings with vanilla Falkreath guards: They had no schedules. All of them did the same thing, 24/7. Three were assigned to sleep in the barracks, but the barracks only had one bed usable by them. Whether aligned with The Empire or Stormcloaks, their uniform was largely unchanged.

Changelogs
Seven guards were posted around the town, and they manned their posts 24/7 never having any time off.
Three guards were in the barracks, with 24/7 sleep packages and only one usable bed. (Note: there were three beds in the barracks, but two were owned by the CWFieldOfficer faction and unusable by the guards)
One guard was on-duty in the jail, 24/7.
...no wonder they were always so darn cranky!

With the possible exception of Winterhold, I think Falkreath guards had the least time put into them compared to other hold capitols.  At least most of the others have some semblance of schedules- maybe not for all the guards in the town, but at least for most of them!

Barracks Changes:
The second floor of the barracks has been rearranged, making room for four cots.

Guard Changes:
There are now two shift of guards for each post, alternating 6 hours on and 6 hours off-duty.
They'll sleep for one of their two daily 6-hour "off" blocks of time, and for the other they'll spend most of their time off outside the barracks, hanging around the exercise yard or training.   If a guard performs both melee and ranged training in the same day, he or she can then head off to the Inn for that "Bellyful of Mead" guards like to comment about.
The Jailors (yes, plural- remember there's two shifts now!) will display "Falkreath Jailor" instead of Falkreath Guard.

Uniform Changes:
While Falkreath is aligned with The Empire, the guards will use Imperial Light Gauntlets and Imperial Light boots, instead of always having fur boots and gloves.  Now there's a little variety in their looks.

Potential Conflicts:
If another mod edits the interior of the barracks, a conflict is likely.  Not for the jail/basement section, since I no longer edit that cell.
I did minor editing in the exterior next to the barracks (cell FalkreathExterior02 if you're curious)- added some furniture and idle markers, made the target dummies usable, moved some trees.  I did my work in a pretty small area.  If another mod also wants to edit that same area, it will probably conflict.  A mod like Arthmoor's Falkreath, which also does limited outdoors editing and on the opposite side of town- should not conflict at all.

Cities of the North - Falkreath:
If you're using COTN - Falkreath, download the version made for it.  Otherwise, download the regular version.

What this does NOT do:
This does not edit the template for Falkreath Hold Guards.   This edits Falkreath Guards- as in, the ones in the capitol, not the ones in other parts of the hold.  The changes I made here, should not affect mods like Oakwood or Man Those Borders which base their guards on the Falkreath Hold Guards.

This does not change the races, genders or physical appearances of guards.   They still pull all that from your leveled lists.

INSTALLATION:
Mostly, like any other mod.  Manually or with a mod manger, depending on your preference.
Mid-Game:  For the mod as a whole, it shouldn't matter.   However, six of the Falkreath guards are persistent in vanilla, meaning they are always loaded in memory.  I don't believe those six would be updated after installation, even if you were away long enough for the cell to reset.
If you see the gate guards doubled-up, this would be the likely cause.

Without SKSE:
The bulk of the mod will technically function without SKSE64, but this is not recommended.  Guard weapon training and "grab a drink at the Inn" AI packages won't happen without SKSE, and it will probably print all kids of interesting errors in your Papyrus log.

Try my Riverwood Guard Overhaul!
Realistic schedules for Shor's Stone guards with Shor's Watchtower Reclaimed.
Give Falkreath a little more love!  Try Pinewatch Pass Reclaimed.
Seated guards in the screenshots aren't wearing helmets, and do have faces!   This is why!
