Sword of the Dovahkriid

Dovahkriid or DragonSlayer in our tongue, is a concept design I was given 2 years ago just to mess about with and create my own style, and at the time had no intentions to create a mod with it. Its purpose was mainly to render images for deviant art or twitter for showcasing purposes only.
A couple days before the release, and as I had started getting into Skyrim modding, when browsing my old model designs I came across this gem, and even though I genuinely do not find chunky swords appealing, this design I actually really like. I had some really good feedback on the original renders, so I decided to put a little extra time into the model and bring it to Skyrim for all to enjoy!

Lore

Lore is not yet fully established, however I plan on adding another version of the weapon, with further tweaks maybe some glowing runes and some extra details and its own unique enchantment, which will be obtained by quest.

The Sword currently can be crafted with Dragonbone smithing perk, and it is currently slightly better than a dragonbone greatsword. (+1 base damage more)

If you can not wait to get your hands on it, the console will be your friend "help dovahkriid" will give you the id and you can spawn with "player.additem [dovahkriid weapon ID] 1"

Things to note!
While I did spend some extra time with Dovahkriid in blender, reducing impact and optimizing the weapon more than it was, considering it was not designed with realtime rendering in mind. The sword is not low poly, I never got around to retopologizing the mesh and so it currently sits at around 18k tris. Which compared to some high poly meshes on the nexus, is not crazy for a unique crafted sword and shouldn't cause any noticeable issues. Most average modern systems should not notice any FPS drops, however it depends on how well your system copes with your current modlist, I'd definitely recommend trying it, as I have only tested on my system with a modlist of 1100+ mods and I didn't notice any drop.
