Level Manager is a simple MCM mod that aims to give anyone the option to configure the XP needed to reach the next level. It directly modifies 'fXPLevelUpBase' and 'fXPLevelUpMult' values from the menu. Sliders allow going from 1 (or 0 for Level Mult) all the way to 5000 experience needed per level. The mod also allows users to use a flat XP formula that makes it so that XP for each level is the same as before. Everything is fully customizable.

Highly recommended to pair this mod with the Experience mod, as it makes the XP from quests feel more balanced in the long run.

The plugin is marked as .esl and contains only simple startup scripts, so the performance impact is almost non-existent.

Configuration instructions:

The mod starts at the default values (75 and 25). To configure it more to your liking, here's what you should edit:

Base XP - flat amount of XP that each level will require - increasing this will increase how much XP you need at each level and vice versa

XP Per Level - extra XP per level that is needed to level up - increasing this will make higher levels more difficult as you progress


The formula for levelling is then:

XP needed = Base XP + XP Per Level * Player Level


So, if your Base XP is at 75 and your XP Per Level is at 25, that means you'd need 150 XP to get to level 4 because 75 + 25 * 3 equals 150.
This also means that setting the XP Per Level to 0 creates a flat level up rate, where you need the same amount of XP to level up each time.

Installation:

Just install with your preferred mod manager or manually extract into your Skyrim folder.

Un-Installation:

If you want to have a maximally clean save you can just set the values to default in the MCM menu, but uninstalling the plugin with the mod manager should also have no effects on the save, as the XP values will reset to normal with the game.

Known Limitations:

This mod is quite simple but does have 2 currently known limitations:

- For some reason Level 1 still requires 100 XP to level up, no matter the values that are set, BUT the XP bar fills up as if it was working as intended. This will result in the game saying the bar is full when it isn't, but it will be normal as soon as you get the option to level up

- Modifying the values mid-level will have some visual side-effects on the XP bar until you level up again and then everything will be normal

Tldr; If something isn't visually right, leveling up just fixes it
