Version 1.0.1
Hotfix: Updated FOMOD version metadata
Subtle color corrections to most snow grasses. Each affected snow grass received slightly different tweaks (desaturation, color curve adjustment, and/or darkening).
Skyrim grasses do not have normal maps, but if they are created along with specular maps and added to a texture atlas, the game will utilize them so that ENB v0.473 or higher can leverage the new complex grass effects for ENB.
I must say that preparing sufficient normals and specular maps for these grasses was orders of magnitude more difficult than doing so for vanilla, requiring a huge amount of trial and error. The result is a subtle yet evident improvement over the standard CL grasses.
Cathedral grasses lacking normal maps were reworked with respect to diffuse opacity (the area under the black in alpha channel), so the diffuse opacity of each texture was remade cleanly with matching and slightly darkened color. A few of the tundra grasses were darkened where the leaf ends were too bright when a normal map was applied, but no other changes were made to the transparency of textures outside of these four tundra grasses. The alpha masks of at least half of the grasses had many transparency 'holes' and partial transparency in the alpha that really should be pure black, so this was all repaired. The 'fixed' diffuse were used as a basis for creating new normal maps that were added to an atlas with corresponding specular maps. This was all done in accordance with methods discussed in johnskyrim's guide on Nexus (presumably under direction of Boris, ENB creator).
