About this mod

A reskin of TrueHUD to compliment other paper UI mods. Standalone i.e. does not require my other Paper HUD mods. Still requires SkyHUD.

Description

This is a reskin of TrueHUD in the style of my previous Paper HUD mods. This is made to compliment paper UI replacers such as Dear Diary. The style has changed a bit to accommodate the scaling features of TrueHUD. You don't need to install either of the previous Paper HUD mods first, as I've included the SkyHUD files in this download in order to change the compass. You could swap to the original enchantment meters as well if you wanted them instead of the TrueHUD one. You can also keep all the advantages of being able to reposition/resize the compass, subtitles etc that SkyHUD provides (check the SkyHUD page for details on how to customise that in SkyHUD.ini)

Installation and Requirements

  • Install SkyHUD
  • Install TrueHUD
  • Install this mod with a mod manager such as MO2. The FOMOD will guide you through and allow you to choose which style of logo you want on the widget (check screenshots)

NOTE the mod comes with its own TrueHUD.ini files which will/should overwrite any of your own settings to obtain the expected appearance. If you use MO2, check that your Overwrite folder isn't overwriting this mod's file. Of course, you might prefer your own settings and customisation of TrueHUD, so manage that as you wish.

Note on TrueHUD
I need to put in the same caveat as I put on my Horizons TrueHUD reskin. Ersh asked that reskins only touch the Assets files in TrueHUD, not the Widgets file. This mod does replace the Widget file to make changes to the shout meter and text in the boss meter. If TrueHUD is updated, I'll need to update this file for it to work with the new version. PLEASE DO NOT QUESTION ERSH IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WHEN USING THIS RESKIN - problems are likely to be because of what I've done.
