Static Mesh Improvement Mod (SMIM) by Brumbek Nifskope
Please Note: This mod and other SMIM food items are now included in my All-In-One food resize mod - SMIM Food Resized - All In One
Static Mesh Improvement Mod (SMIM) by Brumbek is a brilliant must have mod, but one small aspect seems out of place: the size of the potatoes . To me they are just way to big when compared to the real world potatoes I'm used to. This is especially noticeable when playing in VR.
I wasn't able to find a mod on the Nexus to remedy the issue and thus decided to fix it myself. I simply used NifSkope to resize the SMIM Potato mesh to half it's original size.
Options: Main file is potatoes at half size (50%) - Author's choice Optional file is potatoes at three quarter size (75%)
Compatibility: As this replaces only the mesh files it should be compatible with pretty much anything. Original SMIM mod is required for the correct textures.
Installation: Use your preferred mod manager to install as per normal. Give my mod priority / let it overwrite SMIM.
PS. I've been modding Skyrim for a couple of years now but this just so happens to be the first mod I made myself. I decided to share it to give something back to the brilliant Nexus Mods community that has provided me with so many exceptional mods over the years. I hope this helps bring just a little bit more immersion and enjoyment to your Skyrim experience.
