I almost got a seizure looking at how bad the main entrance of Windhelm was. This mod restores it to it's true glory.

Features
  • Fixed odd placement of the main gates. In vanilla gate is placed slightly to the left. If you try and see it from below you realize that a good chunk of the mesh is peeking through the bridge in a most inappropriate manner. I fixed that by moving them (along with braziers, walls and etc.) to the proper position. I also repositioned one poor tree that was stuck in the wall for 11 years. Don't thank me, I had to do this. 
  • Fixed empty spaces visible when opening gates. Another infuriating issue is that you won't see the bridge or the Candlehearth Inn as you enter or leave the city. All you will see is white empty void: this from outside and this from the inside. To fix this I made two things: firstly, I added a dummy bridge to the city world itself, so you will see it when you exit Windhelm. Secondly, I added dummy Candlehearth Inn to the Tamriel worldspace, meaning you will actually see it when entering the city.
  • Fixed gaps between the gate and its frame. Both outside and inside.

Open Cities Skyrim — not compatible, because surprise, it's already (mostly) fixed there.
Capital Windhelm Expansion — compatible. Use appropriate version provided in the installer.
Realistic Lighting Overhaul SSE — compatible. Load my mod after RLO - Exteriors.esp.
Relighting Skyrim SE — compatible. 
Enhanced Lights and FX — patch for the Exteriors module is in the installer.
Lux Orbis at Skyrim — patch provided in the installer.
Lanterns Of Skyrim II — patch provided in the installer.
Tamriel Master Lights — patch provided in the installer.
