I've always thought it was weird you weren't able to rename your horse. This isn't just a car, it's a living animal and it deserves a name! Wild Horses added a renaming mechanic, but it pulled from a randomized list of 30 names and it didn't extend functionality to the vanilla horses you buy from stables.
So, inspired by Wild Horses, I have reworked the renaming mechanic to allow you to rename your horse to whatever you want! It will work both with and without the Creation.
- Adds a text box to enter a custom horse name into whenever you buy a new horse.
- The renaming mechanic covers both vanilla stable horses and horses your Hearthfire stewards purchase for you.
- Includes patchless Wild Horse integration; the default renaming mechanic has been replaced by the new custom system.
This mod is incredibly lightweight and compatible. It only edits a handful of topicInfo scripts and doesn't touch any vanilla records (in fact, there is only one record in the entire mod)!
