Shrubs of Snow Support Added
This replaces the meshes and textures for all three varieties of Tundra Scrub. The textures are from images I took of a creeping indigo. I used the base texture to make a new meshes in Blender.
I am releasing this as a work in progress. Why is it a work in progress? Mainly because of the meshes. I am very new at creating meshes, and I feel like I need to do a better job optimizing the ones provided in this mod. The meshes in the current release look pretty good in game but they have more than ten times more triangles and vertices than the vanilla meshes. I am going to work on trying to get a similar effect just with more optimized meshes. It could take me a little while to get them nailed down as I still have a lot to learn about meshes.
Options
Three color options available: Green, Orange, and Red
All options available in 1k or 2k texture sizes
Animated meshes - Makes the scrubs move with the wind. I tried to keep this subtle since they're low lying plants.
Installation
Download the FOMOD and use it to select the options you want
For Seasons of Skyrim/Shrubs of Snow support, make sure you overwrite the meshes from Shrubs of Snow with the meshes from this mod
Performance Impact The meshes are not completely optimized and are quite a bit more substantial than vanilla. They are still within reason (it's no high poly cabbage by any means). However, if your system is already struggling in Whiterun, these might not help that situation.
The good news is there are only a few of these scattered around so you shouldn't have an issue where there are a lot of them being rendered all at once. Although I guess it's entirely possible that some sadist created a mod that adds a bunch of tundra scrubs.
