About this mod

A lore-friendly player home situated in an abandoned tower in the region near Bleakwind Bluff, Rebel's Cairn, and the Sundered Towers. The Forsworn want it. The Hagravens hold the key. It is yours for the taking. Ideally situated for players operating either for or against the Forsworn. Has some nice Celtic / Breton undertones to it.

VERSION 1.6:

Contains a potential bugfix which causes the smelting pot to not appear or be launched to parts unknown due to a Havoc / collision conflict. If you use V1.5 and are not having this issue, you probably do not need the new file.

VERSION 1.5:

Contains a MAJOR interior navmesh repair (it actually works now) and some other minor tweaks and fixes. Most notable will be the exterior stairs leading to the tower.

General:

A relatively simple, lore-friendly player home situated in an abandoned tower in the region near Bleakwind Bluff, Rebel's Cairn, and the Sundered Towers. The Forsworn want it. The Hagravens hold the key. It is yours for the taking. Ideally situated for players operating either for or against the Forsworn. Has some nice Celtic / Breton undertones to it without being over the top. Requires all three DLC's, but I think everyone has those at this point.

The tower is what I like to consider 'modest' in terms of the player home experience. You get all the necessities, some niceties in moderate amounts, but it doesn't come with an attached Roman Bathhouse and a museum to display every artifact, dragon mask, weapon, and armor set in the game. Clutter is included to the extent that I like clutter, which means a small amount, but I don't like things looking too jammed up or like a hoarder lives there. The screen shots will give you the flavor, as well as big clues on where to obtain the key, and a small Dwemer treat I included on a whim.  There is no screenshot of the alchemy and enchanting stations, but they are there, located on the upper floor of the tower interior.

Pertinent Details:

The mod does not use any scripts other than those in the base game. Containers and furniture were chosen as the non-respawning type when able, except for the kitchen, because I wanted kitchen supplies to respawn. However, the three barrels directly to the left of the oven (as you face the oven) do not respawn, and should be safe for storage. The bookcases in the library function like chests rather than generic bookcases, so you can pack them as full as you want. Mannequins and plaques have been tested- sometimes you have to move the cursor around a bit to get the proper activation cue. I've tested the navmesh and it works with followers, although not always perfectly. The top of the tower outdoors is also navmeshed. Lighting is a bit of a WIP- I always seem to struggle with that. The key to the tower is in an urn in Bleakwind Bluff, to the south of this location.

Installation:

Use your favorite mod management tool. The zipfile contains the .esp file and a BSA file with the assets used by the mod. It has been cleaned using SSEDIT Quickclean. To install manually, extract the contents of the zipfile to your Skyrim SE Data folder. Not recommended unless you are comfortable and competent with manual installations. To uninstall, either use your mod manager, or for a manual uninstall simply delete the .esp and .bsa files from your Skyrim SE Data folder.
