Installation
Credits
Alle Credits gehen an lilebonymace. Ich habe nur die Übersetzung gemacht. Bitte gebt lilebonymace ein Kudos sowie ein Endorsement für die Original-Mod! Danke

Original Mod-Beschreibung:
DESCRIPTION
Changes how Gather Wheat, Mine Ore and Chop Wood quests work so that they make more sense:
- Replaces the crops/ores/wood selling dialogues with small quests
- Restricts access to crops on owned farms (using ownership added by Skyrim Landscape and Water Fixes) and ores in owned mines, so that they can only be legally taken when working for their owner, without getting any items to your inventory
- Work instead of selling crops/ores/wood to their owner
- You only get paid for resources that belong to your quest giver. No longer
you can steal cabbage from some bandit camp and sell it to a random
farmer - Rebalanced and customizable rewards
- Milk cows
- And more...
GATHER WHEAT
So you just pick farmer's crops and literally sell them their own crops
for the full price? Along with cabbages you picked in some bandit camp?
That doesn't make much sense.
Skyrim Landscape and Water Fixes, which is required for Favor Jobs Overhaul, makes crops actually owned
by farmers but doesn't change how the quest works. FJO replaces the
crops selling dialogue with a small quest, during which you harvest
crops without receiving any items into your inventory.
The quest:
1. Ask a farmer "May I work on the farm?".
2. Work on the farm: harvest crops (including snowberries) and chicken
eggs, milk cows on this farm (as many as you want). No items get added
to your inventory, but they're counted under the hood.
3. Return to your quest giver and say "I'm done working." to complete the quest and get your pay.
MINE ORE
Similar edits have been made to Mine Ore quest. FJO only allows you to mine in
owned mines during the quest, when you don't get any ores to your
inventory.
The quest:
1. Ask a miner "May I work in the mine?".
2. Mine as many ore from the mine as you want. No ores will be added to your inventory, though you still get gems.
3. Return to the quest giver and say "I'm done working." to complete the quest and get your pay.
Ainethach (Karthwasten) and Evul Seloth (Raven Rock Mine), which weren't buying
ore from you in vanilla, now offer you a job too.
CHOOP WOOD
Chop Wood quest is changed in a similar way, though you can still freely use any wood chopping blocks. The quest is now limited to lumber mills (Hulda and Ganna Uriel don't offer you a job).
The quest:
1. Ask a miner "May I work on the lumber mill?".
2. Chop as many wood at nearly chopping blocks as you want. No wood will be added to your inventory.
3. Return to the quest giver and say "I'm done working." to complete the quest and get your pay.
NOTES ABOUT ALL QUESTS
- You can refuse the job via a dialogue "Sorry, I can't work."
- If you don't work for 24 hours, the quest gets failed.
- You can only take one quest of each type at a time, starting a quest with another quest giver of the same type will stop the previous quest and your work for the previous quest giver will be forgotten.
- The quests can only be taken between 6 and 20 hours.
- If your quest giver is a vendor, everything you harvest/mine/chop/milk is added to their vendor stock so that you can buy it.
REWARDS
Rewards are rebalanced. You don't get the full value of the items, which would
be absolutely not profitable for your quest givers. You don't sell things now, so there's no difference which crops you harvest/which ore you mine. Rewards increase with your speech level and you also get some speech XP.
NO FRIENDS AT WORK
Unlike vanilla, the quest giver won't be made your friend after working for them, so you won't get full access to their cheap items and crops, and the work
won't be counted as help for thaneship quests (which may make it hard to
earn thaneship in some holds if you don't have mods that add more ways
to make friends). This can be toggled in the MCM.
Even if Make Player Friend is enabled, there are now minimal requirements
for friendship: 3 ores/6 crops/10 firewood at once, which makes a bit
more sense than making you friend after you chopped a single log.
MILK COWS
You can milk cows (reuses one of vanilla animations). You're free to milk cows owned by you, your factions or no one. Owned cows can only be milked as work during the quest for farmers. You must not have weapons drawn and the cow must stay in place.
MCM
This mod comes with an MCM, where you can customize many options. The
settings are stored in a .json file and are shared by all your saved
games. It also allows to reload content when you install/update/remove .json patches midgame.
FEATURE CREEP
Mining Makes Noise and Unlimited Wood Chopping tweaks are included since i edited the same scripts.
Fixed the vanilla duplicated axe/pickaxe bug (when you start chopping wood/mining with an axe/pickaxe equipped).
REQUIREMENTS
- Skyrim Landscape and Water Fixes (DON'T select the "No Ownership Edits" option)
- PapyrusUtil
- powerofthree's Papyrus Extender
- (Optional - if you need the MCM) SkyUI
- Start a new game (the mod won't work otherwise)
It's recommended to also have a mod that makes farmers and miners vendors, such as my Producers of Skyrim - Farmers Miners Fishermen Are Vendors.
COMPATIBILITY
- Conflicts with anything that changes the same quests, their scripts, rewards and dialogues.
- Conflicts with anything that edits MineOreScript.pex, which includes almost everything that edits the mining process in any way.
- Conflicts with anything that edits ResourceFurnitureScript.pex, which includes
almost everything that edits the wood chopping process in any way.
- Make sure that no other mods overwrite FJO scripts and that FJO is placed
after any conflicting mods (unless they support FJO), otherwise it won't
work. If the other mod makes important edits, a patch can be made.
However, i may not want to make a patch for some mods myself (especially
for faster mining ones).
Incompatible:
- Favor Jobs Disposition Changes
- Simple Cow and Goat Milking
Compatible without any patches IF placed before FJO and overwritten:
- RDO
- Go to bed (support included)
- SkyRem - Eve
- Economy Overhaul and Speechcraft Improvements (its favor jobs rewards settings won't work, use the FJO ones)
- Completionist - Skyrim Completion Tracker (support included)
- Requiem
- Vokrii
- Ars Metallica
- CCOR
- Immersive Interactions
- Mining For Mages Redux
- Woodchop Freecam
Content patches are provided for:
- CACO (you also need an ownership patch for SLaWF from the SLaWF installer),
- JK's Skyrim (you also need an ownership patch for SLaWF),
- JK's Whiterun Outskirts (you also need an ownership patch for SLaWF).
FJO only works with vanilla stuff by default. Here's the list of things that need patches if you want FJO to work with them:
- The mod only recognizes crops and chicken nests with owner, and for vanilla
farms this ownership must be the same as in SLaWF. Therefore, mods that
add new crops/chicken nests or move vanilla crops/nests need to be
patched for SLaWF by forwarding its ownership to the moved references
and adding the same ownership to the new ones. - By default, this mod only works on vanilla farms/mines/lumbermulls
(non-vanilla farms/mines/lumbermills will have neither the vanilla or
FJO version of the quests), though patches can be made. - Any non-vanilla items that can be get when harvesting vanilla crops/chicken
nests must be specified for this mod, otherwise they won't be removed
from the player. - Any non-vanilla types of crops and items that can be get when harvesting them must be specified
for this mod, otherwise FJO won't recognize them as crops/remove these
items from the player.
