Changelogs
Version 1.1
Added cooked pheasant, salmon, tomato soup recipes to the main plugin; fixed editor ids confusion with soups.
Version 1.0c
CACO patch: adds 87 (!) recipes to choose from. Most of them conditional, meaning you need to have at least 1 related item in your inventory for the recipes to show up.
That includes teas, alenog, juices, 3 types of porridge, some of the cooked meat and fish recipes, some of the soups, and some of the stews.
Excluding recipes with big meat, because the innkeeper can not be bothered. So if you are a hunter, do them a favour and split it into smaller slices. They will cook those.
They will also split your big jug of milk according to the usual recipe, giving you milk and cream.
If you're thirsty and can not be bothered to go out to the well, they'll do that for a small fee also - giving you a Jug of Water.
Apart from adding new food recipes, there is also rebalancing of the existing ones. Since CACO soups are balanced around resulting in 4 portions, it is more sensible to roll with that, rather than trying to figure out what is going to happen to 0.5 leftover of a Tomato. That increases the price. Broth is the cheapest ('cause they just throw some potato peels in there, probably), then vegetable soups, then meat/fish soups, then vegetable stews, then meat stews. You provide most of the ingredients, but don't worry about minor ones, such as Frost Miriam, Salt, or Broth (as a part of Soup preparation).
In addition to the increased prices of the Soups and Stews, you also have to provide Firewood for cooking them. Because seriously, soups and stews are labour-intensive.
Also excluding recipes with specific cheese, because this is not a restaurant.
As well as any recipes that require a whole lot of time, such as curing meat, making bacon, etc.
Baking is off the table, because most inns don't usually have an oven present.
And as a part of the Seasonal Food mod I'm working on, I don't expect them to have Milk and Eggs throughout the year. So you have to provide them if a recipe requires it. SF adds plenty of amazing food from CACO into the normal rotation, so check it out for some variety, if you're a frequent inn customer.
If you came to the inn craving a ~Cabbage Soup~, yet for some reason they don't have it in stock, you can now ask the innkeeper to make it!
Do so by activating the bar. No need for social interactions.
However, the innkeeper probably has other things they would much rather be doing, so you would have to pay them for their service. And pay well. The price is lowest for simple quickly cooked vegetables, rises for meat, and at the maximum for soups.
Don't expect them to bake for you or cook something difficult and time consuming (no huge Goat Leg Roasts or Elsweyr fondue). Only the basics. The recipes are conditional, and need you to have one required item in your inventory (such as a raw Potato) in order to show up.
However, you can always add new recipes by making patches depending on this plugin, if you want. Or adjust prices, etc.
