Version 1.0
Release
This small mod fixes the black vertex colors of chimney mesh interior so they are able to be lighted up by fire.
Installation: -Install using MO2 or Vortex or drop to Data folder -Let it overwrite every other mesh
Compatibility: -works with USSEP -works with Embers XD -works with Lux
It will be uncompatible with mods that add their own chimney meshes or make duplicate of vanilla meshes and replace the statics in the plugin with them like in Breezehome TNF Expanded for SSE Redux.
How to make your own fix:
The patching procedure is fairly simple though. 1. Open Nifskope 2. Select the applicable mesh part node that needs fixing - BsTriShape node 3. Expand Vertex Data 4. Find vertices with black color - #000000ff 5. Replace them with something like #7f7f7fff 6. Save the mesh
Credits: -Thanks for USSEP team for base meshes to improve upon -Thanks for Embers XD for providing scenic photo without ugly vanilla embers
-The permissions are open, if you can make it better, just do it and don't look back. Preferably upload on nexus so we can all benefit.
