This mod adds 7 new poison themed restoration spells to Skyrim. Also staffs, scrolls, and an enchantment.

This mod adds 7 new restoration spells to Skyrim. They are poison spells based off the Poison Rune added in the Dragonborn DLC.

This mod also adds staffs, scrolls, and a new poison enchantment which are all added to the appropriate leveled lists.

Venom Spray (Novice)
A blast of poison that does 5 points of damage. Targets that fail to resist take 3 points of poison damage per second for 10 seconds.

Poison (Apprentice)
A bolt of poison that does 15 points of damage. Targets that fail to resist take 3 points of poison damage per second for 10 seconds.

Toxic cloak (Apprentice)
For 60 seconds, opponents in melee range who fail to resist take 4 points of poison damage per second.

Toxic Spores (Adept)
A burst of poison spores that does 15 points of damage in a 15 foot radius. Targets that fail to resist take 5 points of poison damage per second for 10 seconds.

Serpent's Fang (Expert)
A bolt of poison that does 20 points of damage. Targets that fail to resist take 8 points of poison damage per second for 10 seconds.

Wall of Tendrils (Expert)
Sprayed on the ground, it creates a wall of grasping tendrils that trips enemies and does 38 points of poison damage per second.

Poison Storm (Master)
An explosion of powerful poison centered on the caster. Targets that fail to resist take 10 points of poison damage per second for 15 seconds.


Special Notes:

Poison Storm, the master level spell, can be purchased from Colette Marence only after the quest Restoration Ritual Spell has been completed.

The cloak spell for this set is set to apprentice level, because that is where the rune spell would normally go. It is weaker than the other cloak spells.

All of the items are added to the lists using one script which will only run once per character. After you install the mod and load a save you should receive the message 'Poison Magic of Skyrim initialized', that means the script has been run and it will never run again. If you want to remove the script anyway, there is an apple near the chest in front of High Hrothgar you can eat.

This mod should be compatible with everything because it does not edit any lists.

Q: Have you given any thought on adding perks to the restoration tree? Like the augment elements in destruction?

A: I gave this a lot of thought, but I came up with two very good reasons not to. 1.) Restoration should not be as offensive as Destruction. 2.) I want to maximize compatibility, and many people use mods that edit perks trees and their functions.

Q: Have you given any thought on adding a Poison Daedra (Summon, Atronach, Enemy) ?

A: That is beyond the scope of this mod right now. I'm still learning and improving. It may come as an update in the future.
