About this mod

The player dialogue lines in AdamDunmer's Dialogue Expansion series have additional spaces at the end of them, after the punctuation. (i.e: "Hi there. " vs "Hi there.")

This patch simply corrects those errors.

If this issue is ever corrected by an update to the mods I've patched, my patches will be redundant and I will remove this mod at that time.

The player dialogue lines in AdamDunmer's Dialogue Expansion series have additional spaces at the end of them, after the punctuation. (i.e: "Hi there. " vs "Hi there.")
This patch simply corrects those errors.

I saw AdamDunmer's latest Dialogue Expansion release and thought it would be great to add DBVO voice pack support for the few new player dialogue lines added by his mods. I happened to notice extra spaces on one of the lines as I was creating the voice pack and discovered a good bit of the lines had this same error.

Because DBVO is looking to exact match by file name before playing the audio, extra spaces will cause the voice lines to fail to fire. My patches will fix that error. If you are generating your own DBVO voice pack, you should generate your topics file using AdamDunmer's original .ESPs as mine only include the fixed dialogue lines. Feel free to direct your users to this page or listing these mods as a requirement for your pack.

The dialogue export script and batch creation tool for DBVO voice packs both omit those additional spaces when they are used, so the only way to fix the voice lines that don't play is to edit the file name of the .fuz files to add an additional underscore OR patch the dialogue to remove them.

I went with patching the dialogue since that would allow already extant voice packs to "just work" without further intervention from the end user. Plus makes all future packs created with the dialogue export script work as well. (Fix the core issue instead of repeatedly fixing the file names every time a voice pack is created)

Patches are ESP-FE so they do not take a slot in your load order. Placement in load order shouldn't matter, as long as it loads after the original mod(s) by AdamDunmer.
