Backstory Questions Framework lets content pack authors add questions you can ask to explore a character further. If you have no content packs using it, nothing will change.
You can ask a question of a particular NPC once per day, using the Advanced Social Interactions menu (see that mod for details on how to use it). You can get up to 4 choices.
Content pack authors can control the list of questions and answers, how often they appear as a choice (higher Weight is more likely to appear), if they are repeatable, and how much friendship is gained (or lost) by asking that question. You can use all of Content Patcher's features to make them as dynamic as you wish.
There is also a new Content Patcher token, spacechase0.BackstoryQuestionsFramework/QuestionsAsked that returns the list of (non-repeatable) questions that have been asked before. You can use this to provide further questions only if you asked a certain one before, only put an event into a location if you've asked a question, etc. (See example pack for a full example of using it as a prerequisite for another question.)
