This mod adds a menu allowing you to read any lost books you've found without having to search the library shelves for the book you want. The menu can be opened either by clicking on the newly added book by Gunther in the museum, or via a configurable key (not set by default).
By itself, this mod uses the vanilla Lost Book texture for covers. However, I highly recommend that you also get Random Lost Library Book Covers by Airyn which allows this mod to use his covers! Alternatively, it should be possible to add your own custom covers by following the format of the Content Patcher pack included in the mod.
Installation
- First, look at the images from version 1.1.0+ above to decide which version you want, 'Original' or 'Smaller.' Note that the images were taken at 2560x1440 resolution, and your actual menus WILL BE BIGGER if your resolution is smaller. Only download ONE version!
- If installing manually, extract the mod into your Stardew Valley/Mods folder. It should contain both the "Lost Book Menu" and "[CP] Lost Book Menu" folders. (The "Lost Book Menu" folder contains the code for the menu itself, while the Content Patcher portion contains the library edits and custom book covers and names.)
- If installing via mod manager, download using your manager and install normally.
- To uninstall, simply delete the mod from your mods folder.
Config
After running the game with the mod installed, you can edit the mod's config with GMCM or directly in the config.json that is generated.

Credits
Thanks to Airyn for giving me permission to integrate his cover sprites into this mod, and to aedenthorn for creating Mailbox Menu which I used as a base when making this mod.
