About this mod

(Updated for 1.4) Dark UI with white text. Contains 7 colors, and a seasonal mode which switches between 4 seasonal colors.

This mod changes the UI to a darker version, and makes the text white by patching the game code.
The colors are configurable, you can choose from 7 different colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Magenta, Black), or enable Seasonal mode, which will display one of 4 seasonal colors depending on the current season.

Installation
Requirements: Content Patcher.
1. Download from the Files tab.
2. Open the zip, and extract both folders into your Mods folder.
3. Edit Mods\[CP] Dark UI\config.json if you would like to change the color, or enable Seasonal mode.
4. Launch through SMAPI.

Configuration
You can change the mod's settings by editing Mods\[CP] Dark UI\config.json.
  • Color: Sets the UI color. (If Seasonal mode is enabled, this will only change the color displayed in the title/save select screen.)
Possible values: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Magenta, Black. Defaults to Black.
  • Seasonal: Enables/disables seasonal mode.
Possible values: true, false. Defaults to false.

Usage in other mods
If you're making another dark UI recolor, and want the game's text to be white, you can download 'White Text Only' from the Files tab, and use it in your mod. Credit isn't required, and you can edit the manifest as you like.
