What it does

This mod spawns forageable fish alongside rivers, ponds, and the sea. Both native and modded fish will spawn, modded mainly from the More New Fish mod. The spawned fish species depend on the area and the season, corresponding mostly to the fish that could be caught in that area in that season, but some fish have been excluded from the spawning. Legendaries shouldn't spawn. Please see Locations section below for supported areas, and Dependencies section for information on required mods.

Important: the coordinates for the spawns for native maps have been selected with SVE installed, thus they might not make sense unless you have SVE installed too. I'm unlikely to work out the coordinates for native maps myself, but if someone is willing to provide them I can make a non-SVE version (or they can make and release it).

The spawn rates are low, but the fish stay on the ground for 5 days after spawning, and it should give a good amount of fish overall. However the balance hasn't been tested much, the amount could be too much or too little and can be changed.

Supported mods include East Scarpe, Ridgeside Village (incomplete spawning area), and Stardew Valley Expanded, more details on the Locations section.

Support is planned for some modded areas, but no ETA.


Dependencies

The only hard dependency is Farm Type Manager, but More New Fish is strongly recommended, although missing it shouldn't cause problems, except for some log spam from Farm Type Manager. SVE is recommended until the mod has proper coordinates for vanilla maps.
