Weapon Mod Fixes

While working on the various other weapon mods I've been making, I've come across a number of bugs across the weapon mods, from small typos to some weapon mods being completely unusable. Rather than them being locked into each individual mod, I decided to make a single mod to collect all my fixes, including ones that don't fit into the other mods.

  • Alters AA-99's Standard Stock's description to match other Standard Stocks
  • Adds the missing ObjectTypeWeapon To the Barrow Knife, Osmium Dagger and Ripshank (primarily now allowing weapon specific vendors to buy and sell them)
  • Changes the standard muzzle mod for the Beowulf, Big Bang, Kraken and Regulator to match other weapons
  • Changes the Standard Grip and Stock to Standard Stock for the Breach and Negotiator to match the other mods and other weapons
  • Alters Drum Beat's Standard Grip and Stock's description to match other Standard Grip and Stocks
  • Reworks Drum Beat's Drum Magazine name, description and crafting requirements into a Standard Magazine to match other weapons (no stat changes, other than the crafting requirements)
  • Reworks descriptions for Drum Beat's Small and Medium Magazines to be consistent with other magazines
  • Changes Equinox's Standard Cover description to match other weapons
  • Corrects Equinox's Amplifier description to match other weapoons, and corrects category keyword
  • Changes Grendel's Standard Barrel description to match other weapons.
  • Corrects Kraken's Bull Barrel description to match other weapons.
  • Changes Kraken's Suppressor barrel into a muzzle like was originally intended
  • Corrects Kraken muzzle mods to have the correct category keyword
  • Changes the MagPulse's Shock Charge Band to use a new Rail category (it doesn't make sense as an Internal mod, and it doesn't fit with any other category either)
  • Adds the Rail attach point to the MagSniper and the missing No Mod to go along with it, allowing you to attach and remove it from weapons
  • Renames the Magstorm to the MagStorm to match other Mag weapons
  • Changes the Microgun's Suppressor to show up in item cards like it should
  • Changes Orion's Standard Grip Without Stock into a Standard Stock (as it always has a stock)
  • Changes the Standard Grip Without Stock to Standard Grip for the Old Earth Shotgun and Pacifier to match other weapons (and it makes more sense worded like that)
  • Changes the Old Earth Shotgun's Stock into Full Stock so that it has a better name
  • Adds the missing WeaponTypeRanged keyword to the Pacifier (meaning it will now benefit from perks and has better legendary compatibility)
  • Changes Razorback's Standard Whitehot Rounds to Whitehot Rounds to match other weapons
  • Adds the Ripshank to the melee formlist (used most notably for the Martial Arts skill)
  • Changes the Urban Eagle's Tactical Grip to have the appropriate stat changes
  • Reordered crafting menu categories to make more sense and include the new Rail category (including all additional categories added by DankRafft's Legendary Effect Overhaul)
  • Tweaked the mod spawn setups for the MagPulse, MagShot and MagSniper
  • Fixed some weapons appearing with a blank extra legendary mod
  • Made Old Earth Assault Rifle's Iron Sights and Reflex Sight zoom in further to be more usable
  • Tweaked Hard Target and Va'ruun Inflictor Rifle's Reflex Sights to be more consistent with other weapons
  • Made Old Earth Assault Rifle's Iron Sights and Reflex Sights zoom in further to be more usable
  • Tweaked zoom settings for Tombstone and Orion's Short Scopes and Va'ruun Inflictor Rifle Recon Scope to be more consistent with other weapons
  • Tweaked red and yellow laser sight beams to be consistent with other colours
  • Fixed Arc Welder's Laser Sight to change stats like for other weapons
  • Added names to base game weapon skins to be clearer about why the skin slot is sometimes unusable (using the unique weapon's name or a generic name where applicable)
  • Fixed Equinox Electromagnetic Skin to use the skin slot properly
  • Restore the backfiring to the Ember like it was intended to and is described as doing
  • Tweaked Beowulf, and Orion's Medium Scopes to be set up correctly
  • Tweaked Razorback and Tombstone's Recon Scopes and Short Scopes to be set up correctly
  • Tweaked Urban Eagle's Short Scope to be set up correctly
  • Added missing template to Coachman and Razorback's Iron Sights
  • Added missing template to Malestrom's Laser Sight
  • Renamed Grendel standard Laser mod from None to No Mod (to match all the others)
  • Removed reticle from MagSniper and added laser to default laser mod to be consistent with other Mag weapons
  • Tweaked the MagSniper lasers to be consistent with other Mag weapons
  • Added dot to MagSniper's recon laser sight to be consistent with other Mag weapons
  • Changed MagStorm's laser to green to be consistent with other Mag weapons
  • Altered Mag weapons base laser mod to be a Laser Sight to be consistent with other weapons (including crafting requirements)
  • Added missing model to Negotiator's Recon Laser Sight
  • Corrected price modifiers on Solstice's barrels
  • Changed XM-2311 Red Dot Sight to a Reflex Sight to be more consistent with other weapons (including crafting requirements)
  • Lowered accuracy on Long Scope template to be more in line with other scopes
  • Increased price modifier on Medium Scope template to be more in line with other scopes
  • Altered to the Recon Scope template to increase accuracy similarly to the short scope (as it's the most similar zoom wise)
  • Removed references to missing textures and (most) dummy textures from skins
  • Added hex nuts to Cutter Heller's Cutter Skin
  • Added iron sights to Equinox Electromagnetic Skin (if using a mod that adds them)
  • Added unique decals and higher quality decal normal map to Grendel Acid Rain Skin
  • Added unique textures for a number of mods and fixed incorrect textures for the Grendel The Buzzcut Skin
  • Fixed Long Barrel and thread protector textures, and added clean Muzzle Break textures to Kraken Clean Skin
  • Added unique decals to Lawgiver Justifier Skin
  • Added clean tape and higher quality decal normal map to Maelstrom Clean Skin
  • Added missing section of Short Barrel textures for MagShear Revenant Skin
  • Added shot pulley and unique decals to MagShot Keelhauler Skin
  • Added unique textures for a number of mods and unique decals to Microgun X-989 Microgun Skin
  • Added unique Long Barrel and Large Magazine textures, and all metal, normal and roughness textures, and hidden all decals for the Orion Starborn Skin
  • Fixed incorrect model part names and added unique Amplifier and Tactical Grip textures and unique decals for the Long and Standard Barrels for the Solstice Ember Skin
  • Added unique textures for a number of mods and unique decals to Tombstone Davis Wilson's Rifle Skin
  • Fixed the elite crew version of the Breach and Shotty to appear when holstered like the player versions do
  • Fixed MagSniper trigger using incorrect texture
  • Removed hidden new line from Va'ruun Inflictor name to fix display issues
  • Renamed Fragmentation Mine to Frag Mine to match Frag Grenade
  • Renamed Tesla Pylon (the throwable mine) to Tesla Mine to match other mines and the projectile name
  • Corrected Frag Grenade to have the CombaTech manufacturer keyword instead of Allied Armanents
  • Corrected Shrapnel Grenade to have the Allied Armaments manufacturer keyword instead of CombaTech
  • Changed the Frag Grenade, Particle Grenade and Impact Grenade to use the correct projectile models
  • Fixed the Arc Welder to no longer use the laser for aiming shots
  • Altered the Mag weapon laser sights to work with any mods that add sights/scopes to them
  • Overhauled the descriptions for the new melee mods to more consistent with how the gun mod descriptions are worded (I'm not entirely happy with some of them, but I wasn't sure what else to do with them)
  • Fixed the Rescue Axe's Weighted Handle to be actually craftable
  • Fixed the Wakizashi's Corroding Blade to be actually craftable
  • Improved the order of the new Ammunition, Blade and Handle Research Projects to not be as scattered across the menus
  • Fixed the appearance of the Negotiators and Beowulfs on the wall of the Best Defense store in Hopetown and made them unable to be picked up (they aren't proper versions of the weapons, and you aren't supposed to be able to grab them anyway)
  • Overhauled all non-player (companion, crew, research and some cut) variants of weapons to match the stats/set up of the base weapon
  • Added missing mods to the crew Beowulf, Big Bang, Grendel, Razorback, Urban Eagle
  • Corrected mods on crew Old Earth Pistol
  • Removed pre-installed legendary mod on crew Regulator
  • Removed Grendel barrels from the research project Drum Beats and swapped the magazine for the drum one
  • Removed cut battery mod from the research project Eons
  • Added a laser sight to the level 3 research project Hard Target
  • Removed unnecessary object templates from the research project Va'ruun Painblade
  • Added a Compensator to the level 1 research project Sidestar
  • Added Advanced qualities for the Eon, Equinox, Rattler and Sidestar
  • Removed the forced nerfs to the Unrestrained Vengeance, Unmitigated Violence and Eternity's Gate
  • Renamed EM-Charged Shot to EM-Charged Shots for the Breach, Coachman, Lawgiver, Pacifier, Old Earth Shotgun and Shotty
  • Renamed Breach Standard Shells to Standard Magazine to match other weapons
  • Altered the description for the Coachman and Old Earth Shotgun's Standard Shells to no longer mention a magazine (as the weapons don't use magazines)
  • Added the Skin mod category to all melee weapons (no new skins are added, but there's no reason for melee weapons to be missing the category now)
  • Altered the MagShot's Standard Rounds description to reflect that it's not a magazine
  • Renamed the MagShot's Tactical Magazine to Tactical Cylinder, as it's also not a magazine
  • Fixed Shock Charge Bands not working correctly (no visual effect is applied on an enemy, but the slow and DOT should still apply)
  • Aligned Beowulf's Short Scope model with the weapon correctly
  • Fixed the Beowulf's magazine texture to correctly say it has a capacity of 30 rounds
  • Fixed the MagSniper's decal material to be consistent with other Mag weapons

Additionally, there are a few optional files in the download:
  • Additional Holstering - RTFP
    • Pistols - All pistol grip weapons will appear on the pack when holstered, and will automatically work with any mod added weapons that use the base pistol animations
    • Heavy grip weapons - All heavy grip weapons will appear on the pack when holstered. In the base game, these are the Arc Welder, Auto-Rivet, Cutter, MagStorm and Microgun, and will automatically work with any mod added weapons that use the base heavy grip animations
      • Standard Grip - This uses the same position that most weapons use, and is currently used by the MagStorm
      • Low Grip - This uses the same position that the Cutter currently uses
  • No Ember Backfiring - Disables the originally intended backfire effect on the Ember that this mod restores, returning it to the original base game functionality
  • No Maelstrom Decals Normals Change - Removes the change to the normals for the decals for the Maelstrom, if you have a mod that uses different normals for the clean and dirty verisons
The Holstering changes require Real Time Form Patcher to work.
