Modified the terrain of the island to include cavernous, underwater tunnels containing resource deposits
Modified the existing degasi habitat to support early-game progression (Modified power-system, custom fabricator, etc.)
Added scrap metal and limestone deposits throughout the island, to allow for basic resource collection without travel to the safe-shallows
Added seaglide fragments to the underwater portion of the island, so the player has a goal to achieve before leaving the island.
This mod removes the starting lifepod from the game entirely, and instead spawns the player on the floating island, with old, overgrown equipment to aid in progression. You will find early-game resources now scattered throughout the island, some above-water, and some below, within the newly added tunnel-system, dug into the island itself. Be cautious, however, as these tunnel systems have proven to be the perfect habitat for the infamous crashfish, and you will find many of their nests scattered beneath the surface of the ocean.
WARNING: This mod has many known incompatibilities! The intro cutscene, lifepod, and starting fabricator are all removed from the game to allow for progression on the island, which breaks many mods that interact with these core systems within the game! If you can't get the game to work, please try removing any other mods you may have installed before asking for help, as mod incompatibility is the most common cause of game-breaking issues.
Dependencies: This mod requires both Nautilus, and Terrain Patcher in order to function. Nautilus can be downloaded from Nexus, and terrain patcher can be found on the creator's github, at the following link; Terrain Patcher Github
Installation: Simply drag and drop the contents of the included zip folder into your BepinEx/plugins folder, as you would with any other mod. If done correctly, the IslandSpawn folder should be in your plugins directory, with two more folders, and a .dll inside of it.
