About this mod

Adds a new sub with cloaking technology to explore dangerous areas

This mod adds a new submarine called the Chameleon.
It has cloaking panels which render it invisible to all fauna, and allow it to explore areas other subs could not.

Features:
  • New submarine - The Chameleon
  • Fragments for the Chameleon
  • Upgrade modules for the Chameleon which can be fabricated in its interior upgrade fabricator (Up to Mk3 depth and Thermal Reactor)
  • 4 slots for power cells
  • Custom AI Voice
  • Room for small interior base pieces (E.g. fabricator)
  • Custom encyclopedia entry
  • Easter egg (If you can find it!)
Customizability:
  • The recipes can be changed in the Recipes folder in the mod folder
  • All text is localized, and can be translated by putting a new translation Json in the "Localization" folder

Requirements:
  • Nautilus (Pre.31 or later)
How do I unlock upgrade modules?
  • Each module unlocks with its corresponding Cyclops module unlock
  • For example, the Chameleon Mk1 depth module unlocks with the Cyclops Mk1 depth module

How do I unlock it?
  • You will need to scan 4 fragments
  • The fragments spawn around wrecks in the Mountains and Dunes

Common problems:
Problem: "There aren't any fragments spawning!"
Fix: Go to [Subnautica Files]/SNAppData/SavedGames/slot[numberHere]/CellsCache
 and delete the files there. The slot number will depend on how many saves you've made. The highest number is the most recent game you've created.
Once you've done that, go back in-game and the fragments should be spawning.
