The Havulv (Hah-voolv), or "Sea Wolf," is a three masted galleon built around a ValheimRAFT and ready to sail the seas of Valheim!

5/25/24:
- Updated world files to ValheimRAFT Continued version 2.1.1.
- Replaced wood fence doors with ashwood doors.
- Install ValheimRAFT Continued, Floors Are Roofs and Jotunn.
- Choose download option and open with an archive extractor (WinRAR, WinZip, etc.).
Option 1: World Files
- Open either the "furnished" or "empty" subfolder in "World Files."
- Extract the .fwl and .db files from selected subfolder into: `C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds`
- If you can't find AppData folder:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Select File Explorer Options.
- Select the View tab of the File Explorer Options window.
- Choose Show hidden files, folders, and drives...
- The AppData folder is located at C:\users\YOURNAME, where YOURNAME is your Windows profile ID.
- You can also find this folder by typing %appdata% in your Windows search bar.
- Start game, select "Havulv" (or "HavulvBarebones") world in your worlds menu and enjoy!
Option 2: Planbuild Blueprint
- Install PlanBuild and Better Creative Mode (both can be uninstalled afterwards).
- Open either the "furnished" or "empty" subfolder in "Blueprints."
- Extract the two blueprint files from the chosen subfolder to: `Valheim\BepInEx\config\PlanBuild\blueprints`
- If "PlanBuild/blueprints" isn't there, start game after installing PlanBuild and directory will auto-generate.
- Turn on "AllowOldV1RaftRecipe" in ValheimRAFT config settings (F1 with Configuration Manager).
- Place old version of ValheimRAFT base in water then type "RaftCreative" into the console (may take a minute to work).
- Use PlanBuild Rune to attach the ship to the last snap point on the back of the old raft.
- DO NOT STEP ON SHIP WHEN ATTACHED TO OLD STYLE RAFT OR YOUR GAME WILL CTD!
- After the ship is attached to the old raft, open the console and type "vehicle upgradeShipToV2."
- Leave session and then come back and ship should be floating in the water and is safe to board now.
- You will need to add a new helm and rudder from the raft build menu to the ship.
- Watch video walkthrough after 1:30 for the rest of the ships setup.
From the Stones, just head southwest down to the shore and you'll find the ship waiting for you.
- Berthing for up to 10 players (1 Captain, 1 Quartermaster, 8 Crew)
- Lavishly decorated Captain's cabin with wrap around gallery windows.
- Private Quartermaster's cabin located on the lower deck aft.
- Crew berthing with 8 bunks, private storage and a dining area.
- Galley with all the cooking items, upgrades and a fermenter.
- Workshop with forge, workbench, all the upgrades and a storage cabinet for supplies.
- Provisions Locker for storing food and supplies and an animal cage for livestock (experimental).
- A chest located on the quarterdeck to store portal, Karve and fishing materials.
- Activate the ship's helm by pressing E and then press Spacebar to sail.
- Bed spawn points reset while in motion/rolling.
- Dropping an "anchor" marker at stop points is a good way to find the ship again if you die.
- Light the hanging brazier in the Captain's quarters and the galley fire pit to allow sleeping.
- If you hear an ominous foghorn in the Mistlands...get the hell off your ship ASAP! ;)
While I'd love for everyone to enjoy this ship, it's extremely detailed and unfortunately not everyone will be able to run it. That being said, I'm taking a page from Sea of Thieves and building two additional ships in the same style as the Havulv: A medium sized "brig" and a smaller "sloop" for players that experience heavy performance drain. In the mean time, check out my Serpent Viking ship for a smaller, more Nordic themed build and stay tuned for more ships!
- Gizmo Reloaded allows you to angle build pieces more precisely.
- Better Creative Mode grants access to additional vanilla build pieces.
- Enter `RaftCreative` in the console to stabilize the ship for building and reenter to drop back in the water.
- DON'T use `RaftCreative` if you have livestock onboard unless you want them to join the Valheim Space Program.
