About this mod
I present you a reshade preset for Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. This mod is aiming to improve graphics while maintaing vanilla feeling of the game. I didn't want to add stuff like bloom or too much HDR-like effects or tonemaps so i strictly focused on improving sharpness and adding realistic effects.

This is a Reshade Mod For the game, simple use of shaders to improve game visuals. This mod is aiming to improve graphics while maintaing vanilla feeling of the game.
EDIT TO INSTALLATION GUIDE : Since i can't put Reshade_Setup installer into the files because it is supposedly treated as virus (probably because being an executive file) - To get through point 3 of this guide just download ReShade from original website : https://reshade.me/
Installation Guide:
1.Unzip the file VTMBHDVanillaReshade.7z
2.From the unzipped folder copy VTMBReinarsVanillaShade.ini to your game directory (Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines)
3. Run ReShade_Setup_[Version number].exe : Search for Bloodlines Executable (Vampire.exe) then click NEXT and choose Directx9 then click NEXT and at the bottom you will see the option to Browse : from there go to directory with the game and choose VTMBReinarsVanillaShade.ini then click NEXT.
Installer will automatically download only needed effects - no more no less.
4. Run the game, default navigation of Reshade is with "Home" button. You should see a grey bar with Reshade version popping up on top of your screen.
5.Skip Tutorial, on the bottom right corner of Reshade GUI check Performance Mode. Mod is ready but if you want to get rid of FPS Counter navigate with mouse to setting and then down below to FPS Counter to disable it.
Experience may be different for some users using other mods
Specs and mods used with this reshade that i had on while doing the screenshots:
2560x1440 Resolution, all graphical settings to the max.
VTMBUP115rc9.6 (Unofficial Patch) - Other versions of Unofficial Patch should work just fine too
VTMB HD Overhaul : VTMB HD Overhaul made by omrikoresh
As you can see from the screenshots even while using HD Texture Pack already this reshade is able to give even more crisp look to the textures without overusing bloom effects (which is working badly with the HUD, subtitles and UI in general anyways)
