About this mod

I saw that someone has uploaded my texture, while giving me credit, however I did not give my permission. I appreciate the sentiment that he would take it down upon request. But that's not how this works. You need to get my permission first. I have no idea the changes that were made. I will examine the changes and upload them here if I approve.

This mod is a retexture of Geralt so that he appears as he does in the Killing Monsters Trailer. It retextures his armor, his face, body, teeth, eyes, and cloak so that he actually looks like he has been on the trail for half a year.

Geralt's face:

- Paler with whiter eyebrows mixed with darker sections
- New scars that look a bit older (including an eyebrow scar)
- Less blue bags under the eyes compared to my other mod.
- three sets of eyes. Normal, slightly dilated and full on toxic (you need Modular eyes mod to see all of them except for the regular eyes)
-New teeth. They look like they have drank a few more potions and had a little less teeth whitening done.
-4k body and face textures
-scalp hair has been redone by hand.
-eyebrows have been completely redone by hand as well.

***This Mod has been made to be used with Crashers Awesome Killing Monsters Geralt Mod. For his hair Mesh and head Mesh.

***Go download his mod files (standalone hair(not the beard) AND stand alone head) and put them lower priority than mine. My textures will overwrite.
Killing Monsters Geralt - Standalone Geralt Face and Body and Killing Monsters Geralt - Standalone Long Loose Hair from
KIlling Monsters Geralt at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

***Crasher has been gracious to allow me to have my own texture file included in my mod that will give his Killing Monsters Hair mesh a slightly different color.
But it will not work without his Mod. So go download and endorse those two files.

***For the beard and other hair styles go download oldflipgamers wonderful hair mod. And download the
Rev2 Ultimate Dark Preset V2 Rev 2 Ultimate Geralt Hair and Beard NonHW at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) And endorse his necessary mod.

***Now oldflipgamer has a new preset for my mod in the optional files tailored specifically this mod! It looks fantastic. Choose Rev 2 Ultimate Dark Preset from main files or his new ikillsoftly preset in optional files. And please endorse!***

Geralt's body:
-paler matching his face.
-New Striga Scar
-4k textures
-Compatibility with Geralt in Brothel (No other Mods Needed) The bits and bobs are accounted for if you just download the mod mentioned.

Geralt's Armor:
-New Armor textures and Killing Monsters Claw Mark
-Dirty and Torn (Not unreasonably so)
-little blood stain here and there

*** You will need to go download Killing Monster Arm Pads, the No HD version. I have done something different with the chainmail to maintain original look. (Starting Armor Replacer) Killing Monsters Arm Pads at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

Geralt's Cloak:

-Geralts Cloak is finally dirty and worn like in the Killing Monsters Trailer and The Trail.

***You will need to go download the toggleable Killing Monsters Cloak by Ard, and also his Hoods mod if you want to be able to put the hood down.

**Look for my instructions further down to avoid clipping with the kaer Morhen armor  (having a weird issue I need to resolve)

***Ard was kind enough to allow me to retexture his cloak but you will need his Toggleable Killing Monsters Cloak here. Killing Monsters Cloak (Toggle-able) at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) and if you want the hood up and down function go download his fantastic hoods mod.

To Summarize you will need the following Mods to achieve the look in the screenshots:

1) Killing Monsters Geralt - Standalone Geralt Face
2) Body and Killing Monsters Geralt - Standalone Long Loose Hair from
-Both found here:  KIlling Monsters Geralt at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

3) Rev2 Ultimate Dark Preset V2 or oldflipgamers ikillsoftlys preset in the optional files section.
- Rev 2 Ultimate Geralt Hair and Beard NonHW at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

4)Starting Armor Replacer (from the old files section)
-Killing Monsters Arm Pads at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

5)Toggleable Killing Monster Cloak (main file as well as the viper file from the old files section )
6)Hoods
-Killing Monsters Cloak (Toggle-able) at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

-Hoods at The Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

Follow Ards guides for installation and then Do what I suggest Below for a Non clipping hood up and down cloak:

Up/Down Hood with fixed clipping Cloak instructions:
  • After installing hoods and the toggleable cloak main file. Make a new empty folder in your dlc directory and name it dlc_KillingMonstersCloak2
  • put a sub folder inside that folder called content.
  • Now remove the dlc collison cache from dlc_KillingMonstersCloak (orginal one) and place it in your new dlc_KillingMonstersCloak2 content folder.
  • ****Nothing else goes in this folder.
  • Now grab the Collison cach from the old viper armor files dlc and put that in your dlc_KillingMonstersCloak content folder.

-You should have two dlcs now in your dlc directory dlc_KillingMonstersCloak and dlc_KillingMonstersCloak2
***This allows the non clipping collision cache to be use for the hood up version and the clipping version for the hood down. The clipping is not noticeable in the hood down at all.****This Clipping fix is only working sometimes for some people. I think I have figured out why. For now just use The regular main togglable killing monsters Cloak from Ard.

Credits:
-TheRealArdCarraigh for his cloak textures
-Crasher for his Hair Texture file. (Also note that Crashers Mod highly inspired this one)
-Spearse for his DIrty armors (although I do not no how much of his original textures are left. But certainly inspirational)
-dvcons for his 4k armors (Again not sure how much survived. But was cetainly part of the foundation)
-Nayef_k93 for his Killing Monsters Armor (Also Not sure how much is in their. Bits. Spearse, dvcons and Nayef_k93 were all part of the base. That then changed into this.
-Zowbaid for his Toxic eyes base.
-Ninivekha for his geralts lower torso mesh and some textures.
-Also heavily inspired by banjomir777 dark geralt and his excellent killing monsters armor versions(but no assets were used)

Recommended Mods other than the ones already "required"
-Plastimetals modular eyes
-Scouts glowing eyes. faint yellow and narrow default option. (this is used in all the screenshots. Designed around it)
-banjomir777s Dark geralts optional dirty roach file. (Roach is using this in screenshots.) and it is just Awesome.

-Nayef_k93 Km swords if you want, but I do not use them. THey change stats. And even if you take that out they change how the collison cache interacts with the cloak.

SideNote: If you want to use hairworks id recommend using craniumj alt long hair. and making sure you also download Neuxers Yet another Hairworks Milky Grey hair color only and give it priority. I think this is the closest you will get to Gerry Killing Monsters with Hairworks for style and color.
