Review Grill-Off with Ultra Hand! (WiiWare)
You get what you pay for
For a video game rewards programme, Club Nintendo is dishearteningly light on actual video games. Apart from arguably overpriced Game & Watch DS collections and a year-end bonus for Elite members in the form of Doc Louis' Punch-Out!!, rewards have mostly been items such as posters and playing cards. But now, for a mere...

News Gunpei Yokoi Gets The Legacy Treatment
The father of handheld gaming gets remembered in a hands-on tribute
Gunpei Yokoi pretty much created the handheld gaming market. His line of Game & Watch systems eventually paved the way for Nintendo's full-fledged portable gaming system, the Game Boy, also created by Yokoi. Before making video games though, he created a slew of toys that helped...

Instead, Nintendo went and dropped a bunch of other stuff too to vie for your spare change. In case you thought your bathroom wall could use more Mario (and really, whose can't?), you can...

WiiWare game cooks its way out of Japan
The US branch of Club Nintendo, home of posters, cards and, uh, bookmarks, is set to broaden its range a little more with a quirky, bite-sized nugget of a WiiWare game. There's no set release date for it, although we can reasonably expect it to be "soon," and the game will go for 80 coins. Previously...

Love the idea of getting games as rewards but this is not looking like a buy. I would still rather get a set of Hanafuda Cards.
give us the password to dl this!!
You should get the hanafuda cards. I have them (yes, I saved up 800 coins) and they are awesome.
I wont be downloading that game for sure. I do like the Mario posters it'd be great next to the Zelda ones I got.
Simple arcade-style fun. Pretty fun.
I might get this sense around 100 coins are going to expire here soon. Or maybe ill get the mario poster. Hopefully they have new prizes sense its going to be a new club nintendo year.
Anyone who joined july 2008-june 2009 coins don't expire till june 30th, 2011, as per the FAQ. I'm holding out till then to see if there's something better. This was so cheap I had to get it though, so much better than the 500+ coin rewards like wii remote holder... wtf?
Hoping I'll get the hang of this as it could be fun.
Wow, so much easier to just keep the nunchuck tilted and just move the wiimote straight when you want to grab (keep nunchuck tilted). I went from 400 points to 9700 points just by trying that. People having problems miight want to try it. Also remember keep both of them parallel to the screen surface!
