Taylor Swift brought her ‘Eras’ tour to London this weekend for a three-night run at Wembley Stadium.

The ‘Fortnight’ singer performed the first three of the eight shows she has scheduled in London this summer.

Over the course of the weekend, Swift brought out Paramore’s Hayley Williams to sing ‘Castles Crumbling’ with her, partner Travis Kelce – who attended all three shows – made an appearance on the ‘Eras’ tour stage and Gracie Abrams joined Swift to debut their new song ‘Us’.

Swift performed her mammoth show, which consists of more than 40 songs, spanning 17 years of music, to three sold-out stadiums, along with a number of A-listers from the entertainment world, including Oscars winners, music royalty, and even some real royalty.

On the opening night of the London leg of her record-breaking tour, the VIP tent was occupied by Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlin, supermodel Cara Delevigne and Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness, who also featured in Swift’s ‘You Need To Calm Down’ music video.

Also in attendance were Salma Hayek, Rob Beckett and Mike and Zara Tindall. The Tindalls weren’t the only royal attendees at the ‘Eras’ tour, as Prince William could be seen in a box dancing to ‘Shake It Off’, alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Saturday night show saw a VIP tent packed with famous faces including Tom Cruise, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and Liam Hemsworth.

NME caught Swift’s first UK performance at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on June 7, giving the show a glowing five-star review.

Hannah Mylrea wrote: “Each era is a distinct chapter. The aforementioned visuals (which are aided by distinct colour palettes) are accompanied by wardrobes of (rapidly changed, often brilliantly bespangled) costumes for Swift and her dancers, and – of course – the differing musical worlds.

“In the live setting the synth-led sound of ‘Reputation’ is rocked up, Swift’s guitarists (she’s joined on-stage by a slick six-piece band, and four backing vocalists) shredding exuberantly. In fact, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ has never sounded better.”

She continued: “At the centre of it all is Swift herself, guiding the audience through the hit-stacked show era to era. The ringleader of the entire Eras Tour shepherds us through with razor precision, an utter pro who’s energy doesn’t waiver throughout.

“And even among the meticulously rehearsed and choreographed performance which runs like clockwork, she finds pockets of humour and moments to connect with the crowd.”
