Watch Danny Dyer join Robbie Williams for Blur’s ‘Parklife’ at BST Hyde Park

Robbie was also joined by Gaz Coombes for a version of Supergrass' 'Alright'

Danny Dyer joined Robbie Williams on stage at BST Hyde Park yesterday (July 6) for a version of Blur’s ‘Parklife’ – watch the footage below.

The unlikely pairing came together midway through Williams’ set at the British Summer Time show on Saturday, the lone UK festival appearance for the ‘Rock DJ’ singer in 2024.

“It’s the double act you didn’t know you needed in your life!” exclaimed Williams as the song began.

Dyer took up the cockney spoken-words parts of the 1994 song, first made famous by Phil Daniels, with Robbie taking the place of Damon Albarn and the pair being backed by the Coldstream Guards. Watch fan-captured footage of the performance here:

Dyer had also joined Williams during the show’s opening video sequence, in which the ‘Angels’ singer is seen marching backstage, flanked by the Football Factory actor, as well as SupergrassGaz Coombes.

Coombes also graced the stage during Williams’ set, where the two performed a version of the Britpop band’s 1995 crowd-pleaser ‘Alright’.

Robbie introduced the performance by sharing a memory of first meeting Coombes at Glastonbury in the ‘90s, saying he had “a lovely soul and a lovely spirit”, before describing him as “one of Britain’s best songwriters”.

In other news, Williams recently reflected on his awkward and “rude” encounter with Cher, which left him “headbutting the wall” afterwards.

Elsewhere, the singer previously revealed that he has “written loads of songs” for a new album and is feeling “full of purpose and loving life”.

The comments shared by the former Take That member arrive after he shed light on his history of self-harm and depression, and encouraged people to be more “careful” about the comments they make towards those in the public eye.

Williams also confirmed that his dance side project Lufthaus – which sees him join forces with Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe – would be making their UK live debut at Creamfields 2024.
