Hezbollah, the group based in Lebanon and backed by Iran, has been trading fire with Israeli forces across the Israel-Lebanon border since Israel's conflict with Hamas began last October. Israel rescues 4 hostages in attacks that kill over 270 Palestinians

The rescue operation is the largest recovery of living hostages since the war in Gaza began. Meanwhile, at least 274 Palestinians were killed and around 700 were wounded, Gaza's Health Ministry said.

Tens of thousands of Israelis marched through the streets of Jerusalem Wednesday June 5, 2024 for ‘Jerusalem day’. The March begins west Jerusalem and travels through east Jerusalem and the muslim quarter often old city, ending in the Jewish quarter at the wailing wall. The March marks the anniversary of the 6 day war in 1967 when Israel annexed east Jerusalem and the western wall.This year, journalists and old city residents were harassed and attacked by marching ultra nationalist youth.

Tens of thousands of Israelis marched through the streets of Jerusalem Wednesday to mark Jerusalem Day. The march begins in west Jerusalem and travels through east Jerusalem and the Muslim Quarter of the Old City, ending at the Western Wall.
