Where are the Hellblade 2 hidden face locations? Senua’s Saga is all about perspective, and Hellblade 2’s collectibles certainly force you to look at the environment differently. These rock formations resemble human faces and unlock stories that explore many of the notable trickster gods, spirits, and monsters that spell doom and misfortune in Icelandic folklore. Like Druth’s stories, these Norse tales recontextualize Senua’s Saga within the history and culture in which it takes place.
There are 17 hidden faces to locate in Hellblade 2, and many are tough to spot. They appear in chapters two through five in the story game, and you can reveal the hidden path behind them using your Focus ability. However, it’s important to bear in mind that Hellblade 2 faces are only marked as collected once you’ve used Focus to activate the tree of Yggdrasil that lies beyond. Here’s where to find the Hellblade 2 faces – we also recommend looking out for the Hellblade 2 Lorestangir along the way.
Hellblade 2 hidden face locations
Here’s where to find the hidden faces in Hellblade 2:
Freyslaug
There are two Hellblade 2 hidden faces in chapter two:
Face #1 – Return Home
After you complete the puzzle in the ruined village, cross the bridge and proceed through the destroyed structure. Head towards the lit torch on the left-hand side and turn right to see the hidden face directly ahead.
Face #2 – Meeting the Stranger
Follow Fargrímr a short distance to the wooden bridge, then head left instead of following him right to reach the hidden face at the end of the path, just past the wooden post and rock sigil.
Rauðhólar
There are five Hellblade 2 hidden faces in chapter three:
Face #3 – Red Hills
This hidden face is just left of the Lorestangir in this area. Instead of following Fargrímr and Thórgestr up the hill, head left, keeping the destroyed building on your left side. The face is set into the rock wall directly ahead.
Face #4 – Red Hills
This hidden face is in the same area as the one previously. Instead of going left from the main path, head to the right past the destroyed building and follow the path to a small clearing. The face can be found on the rock wall to the left, overgrown with moss.
Face #5 – On the Hill
Traverse down the wooden structure leading from Fargrímr’s settlement and proceed along the path past the small pool of water. Ahead, a short path on the left terminates with this hidden face.
Face #6 – Find the Hiddenfolk
After you complete the first Hiddenfolk puzzle, proceed up the path between the trees until you reach a slight bend. The hidden face is set into the rock formation on the right.
Face #7 – Find the Hiddenfolk
After you complete the second Hiddenfolk puzzle, continue along the path and drop down the two ledges. Before you reach the area with the pools of water, climb up the two ledges on the right to reach this hidden face.
Huldufólk
There are four Hellblade 2 hidden faces in chapter four:
Face #8 – Enter the Caves
You can find this hidden face right at the beginning of the chapter. Squeeze through the passage, then drop down the ledge to the cramped underground area. Instead of following the main path right, head left to find the face in the cave wall.
Face #9 – Enter the Caves
As you proceed through the cave, you’ll reach a blocked passage that requires you to douse the lit brazier on the ledge to the right. Head through the small tunnel on the right to reach it, then turn around immediately after you’ve put it out to see the hidden face on the opposite wall.
Face #10 – Enter the Caves
After you drop down the hole and into the water, turn around and find the hidden face at the back of the tunnel.
Face #11 – Act of Sacrifice
Immediately after you reach the light at the end of the tunnel, proceed through to the open cavern with the floating rocks suspended in the air, and veer left to find this hidden face near the cliff edge.
Bárðarvík
There are six Hellblade 2 hidden faces in chapter five:
Face #12 – To the Sea
After you reunite with Fargrímr and Thórgestr, follow the coastal path until you reach the small waterfall on the right. Head towards it to find the hidden face set into the rock wall.
Face #13 – Sjávarrisi
Follow Ástriðr until you reach the small gap between the rocks. Before you go through it, turn to the right to see the hidden face lying low to the ground.
Face #14 – Another Question
After you defeat the draugar and complete the rune puzzle blocking your way, proceed along the cliff path overlooking the shipwrecked beach. This hidden face can be found at the end of a short path on the right, shortly before you catch up to Ástriðr.
Face #15 – Another Question
This hidden face is in the tunnel leading to the third section of the shipwrecked beach, on the way to the Lorestrangir in this area. Once you reach the beach, turn around to see the face directly behind you.
Face #16 – Another Question
Follow the main path from the beach into Bárðarvík until you reach a wooden post with wind chimes strapped to it. Take the gravel path on the right and head towards the lit torch directly ahead. The hidden face is to its immediate right.
Face #17 – Another Question
This hidden face is also located in Bárðarvík, a short distance from the previous one. Instead of continuing up the main path to Ástriðr’s hut, veer left up the grass slope. Head past the Lorestrangir in this area and follow the stone wall to reach the lit torch past the two buildings. You can find the final face to the left of the torch.
Hellblade 2 hidden face rewards
