It's always great to score a bargain on a non-foldable phone. What about those who appreciate those devices? They shouldn't be left out of the discount fun. This holiday shopping season, we believe you might get a $400 price cut on the latest Galaxy Z Fold 6. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 should get cheaper by at least $150. Of course, if you're looking for even bigger savings, you should go back a year and opt for the Z Flip 5 or the Z Fold 5.

In the budget-friendly segment, options like the Galaxy A25 5G, the Galaxy A15 5G, and the Galaxy A35 5G should all land at sweetly discounted prices. Black Friday Galaxy deals on these devices could be between $75 and $100, but there's always a chance some model gets a deeper price cut at some point.

Not that big of a Galaxy fan? Well, if you're into Motorola phones, know the Black Friday Motorola deals will be out of this world!

As you probably know, the brand doesn't shy away from discounts and often sells its budget options and high-end models at incredible discounts, even when it's not the shopping season. So, for this year's Black Friday, we expect precisely Motorola devices to get the best price cuts.

The entire portfolio of Motorola's contemporary devices should get a discount next month. For the Razr+ (2024), we anticipate a $250-ish price cut, while the non-Plus Razr (2024) should get at least $100 off its usual MSRP. Last year's Razr options might get markdowns of over 50%, and we're not talking just about the non-Plus variant.

What about Edge models? Well, if you really want to save, we'd recommend going for one of the 2023-released options. We saw the Edge+ (2023) discounted by $300 on multiple occasions this summer, so we expect nothing short of that figure in terms of Black Friday discounts.

Budget options from Motorola, such as the Moto G Stylus 5G (2024), Moto G Power 5G (2024), etc., will most likely get 25–30% off, but some models might get even more considerable price reductions. At least, that's what we expect to see. We'll have to wait and see whether those crazy-awesome deals actually happen.

OnePlus fans, prepare for an epic Black Friday! This year, the brand's most popular phones are the flagship lineup, which includes the OnePlus 12 and its OnePlus 12R relative. Both puppies should appear in Amazon's deals section, with discounts ranging between $150 and $250.

In case you're looking for OnePlus' foldable innovation, chances are you'll be able to save on this one as well. The OnePlus Open will probably be discounted by $500. Keep in mind that it may be worth checking out the official OnePlus Store. Last year, we saw a gorgeous $1,000 discount on the foldable from the manufacturer's store.

Will you be able to get a budget-friendly OnePlus phone for less next month? Absolutely! We expect the OnePlus Nord N30 prices to dive at least $100 down than usual, meaning the $300-ish phone should be quite a bit more affordable.

Keep in mind that Amazon won't be the only seller offering killer OnePlus discounts. For one thing, we expect plenty of awesomeness and incredible Best Buy Black Friday promotions on OnePlus phones.

Black Friday Google Pixel deals should be abundant this year! With four new models from the Pixel 9 lineup and the latest Pixel A-Series handset, Pixel phone discounts are expected to be plenty. We believe the latest smartphones from the brand will get their prices slashed by $50–$100, most likely even beyond $100 for the Pixel 8a.

Going back another year and opting for some of the Pixel 7 phones won't leave you empty-handed. Given that we've seen markdowns in the 50% range on the Pixel 7 Pro all summer, we believe this one will become dirt cheap this Black Friday. The non-Pro model, on the other hand, will most likely be available for just under $300, which saves users $300.

Black Friday deals on iPhones aren't that many. That's customary for Apple tech, so we wouldn't expect grandiose savings opportunities for the 2024 shopping season. That said, there might still be awesome discounts from carriers. For instance, last Black Friday, Verizon launched an iPhone 15 Pro Max that saved users $1,000 on the high-end device with a new line and an eligible trade-in.

Those who have no intention of signing a carrier contract might be able to save on an older iPhone model or a refurbished one. Amazon and Walmart are usually the merchants that give the most impressive deals on renewed iPhone models, so keep that in mind. Stay tuned for early deals as the event draws near.

Want something off the mainstream world? That shouldn't be a problem. Next month, you should have at least one model from Nothing, Asus or TCL on sale. For example, last Black Friday, Amazon slashed $140 off the Nothing Phone (2). We believe there's a great chance we see similar, if not better deals next month.

When do Black Friday phone deals start?

Officially, Black Friday phone deals should start flying around on November 29, 2024—the day after Thanksgiving. However, offers usually begin about a week earlier than the actual Black Friday, so keep that in mind.

Stay tuned for the best Verizon Black Friday deals, and keep in mind there'll always be promos from big-time online sellers for unlocked phones.

Which retailers offer the best Black Friday phone deals?

The usual suspects—Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart. Of course, there are always promos from merchants like Target and carriers like Verizon and AT&T. However, it's usually Amazon that gives shoppers the best discounts.

Is it better to buy an unlocked phone or to go through a carrier on Black Friday?

Getting an unlocked phone is surely the better choice. First, you can snatch an unlocked phone at a fraction of its usual price on Black Friday. Second, since your handset won't be locked to any carriers, you can use it with any mobile operator. And third, you won't bind yourself to a 24-month contract by going for an unlocked device.

If you buy your phone from a carrier, it will most likely be locked to that specific mobile operator, and you will definitely have to opt in to a contract.
