Amazon Fire Phone is cut in price; including the free year of Prime, the handset is just $31
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
The Amazon Fire Phone is now just $130 on Amazon, of course
Rumors of an Amazon branded smartphone had been bandied about for some time. But when the Amazon Fire Phone was finally released in July 2014, it quickly became obvious that the device would be branded a failure. Even with new features like Firefly, which allows users to snap a photo of a box or UPC code and receive purchasing information from Amazon, and the Dynamic Perspective 3D images that use four front-facing sensors to achieve, the Fire Phone was DOA.
If you are planning on signing up for Amazon Prime anyway, might as well dig a little deeper and shell out the additional $31 to pick up the Fire Phone. You never know when you might need a spare handset.
