OnePlus releases OxygenOS
After weeks of anticipation, OnePlus has finally taken the covers off its flavor of Android, OxygenOS. OnePlus One owners were all set for what would be a ROM for their flagship killers back in February. However, a number of delays were imposed as the build was going through a certification process.
Based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, OxygenOS is said to be “light and essential” with all the customization, and useful features OnePlus owners have enjoyed with their devices. Gestures are baked in, and quick settings have some nice appointments. The File Manager is of course a welcome touch.
OxygenOS is not a required download, users can obviously still opt to keep using Cyanogen ROMs. OnePlus is committed to be prompt with updates, and encourages users to download the company’s feedback app to submit comments about the experience. Click on the source link for all the details.
Thanks Muhammed for the heads-up!
