OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition with 10GB RAM goes on sale December 13
The thoroughly leaked OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is officially scheduled to go on sale in Western Europe and North America on Thursday, December 13, with availability in India, China, and the Nordics to follow “soon after.”
Oddly enough, this promises to deliver “a day’s power” in 20 minutes, not 30, purportedly recharging a whopping 50 percent of the large 3,700 mAh battery under the (gorgeous) hood of the 6T McLaren Edition in record time.
Keep in mind that the regular OnePlus 6T was already capable of insanely fast charging, needing just an hour and 25 minutes to get from 0 to 100 percent battery capacity, which makes us very excited to test this new Warp Charge 30 solution for ourselves.
Until we get a chance to do that, we should probably mention the rest of the specifications are unchanged, including all the well-established awesome stuff of the OnePlus 6T. We’re talking Snapdragon 845 processing power, in-display fingerprint recognition, a beautiful 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a discreet waterdrop notch, dual 16 + 20MP rear-facing cameras, 256GB internal storage space, and Android 9.0 Pie software.
Talking a little bit more about the special design of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, you may want to know the McLaren logo at the back reflects light in a rather unique way, while the “Papaya Orange” accents dramatically fade to black after “racing around the bottom edge of the device.”
The result is a somewhat understated luxury aesthetic that seems to achieve a perfect balance between style and affordability. What’s not to love about this thing?
