State of Decay sells more than 250K copies in two days
According to the post, State of Decay “has smashed all kinds of records.”
“The only game that ever sold more on XBLA this fast was Minecraft ... an already hugely popular game,” the post reads. “There just aren’t the words to describe the feeling.”
Undead Labs will continue to update the game, with the first patch expected next week. “Title Update 1” will fix NPC and zombie-related bugs, reduce cooldowns of commands and more. The full patch notes are available here.
State of Decay launched for Xbox Live on June 5. A Windows PC release is expected at a later date. Read our review, which calls State of Decay “one of the most cohesive, terrifying and engaging open-world games,” for more on the game.
