There is a rich history to each of Assassin’s Creed game’s settings, and Ubisoft explores that history in its Discovery Tour series. Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt for Assassin’s Creed: Origins strips out the franchise’s brutal combat in favor of learning. And as part of Ubisoft’s Play Your Part, Play at Home pandemic campaign, the studio is offering both Discovery Tours for free over the next week.

Starting Thursday, players can log into their Uplay accounts on PC and download free copies of both Discovery Tours. Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece highlights the Classic Greece period, and features 29 regions to explore. Players can learn about daily life in the period, as well as Greek myths, legends, and philosophies. Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt focuses on Ptolemaic Egypt. Players can take guided tours led by historians and Egyptologoists, focused on the culture and customs of Ancient Egypt.

The giveaway is an attempt to help teachers and students engage in history while learning from home.

“With millions of children experiencing upheaval to their studies right now, and teachers forced to adapt their lessons to digital tools, people are seeking new and enriching ways to learn,” said Etienne Allonier, brand director for Assassin’s Creed. “We’re really proud of the Discovery Tours and their capacity to make history accessible, immersive, and fun.”

Teachers — and curious adults or children — have until May 21 to claim their free copies of Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece.
