As a counsellor I cannot use Mental Health Care Plans. I provide Monday-Wednesday evening sessions. I specialise in supporting clients in all aspects of relationship: family counselling, pre-marriage counselling, couples counselling, and post-relationship counselling. Clients have said working with a male counsellor often brings a different perspective. With over 20 years experience and over 10,000 sessions completed, I have worked with individuals and couples, locally, interstate, and overseas who are experiencing difficulties in their relationship. I use structured questioning techniques to engage with clients to help them clarify and better understand what is troubling them and then working with them to explore options to change what is currently not working for them.
I endeavour to build a safe, secure and private environment for my clients to tell their story, without judgement, bias, or labelling, and then work with them to explore ways that might improve things for them.
