I am a warm and professional Counsellor and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with extensive experience providing counselling support. I provide therapy through mental health plans and offer sessions that are bulk billed leaving you with no gap to pay! I use an integrated person-centred approach to my counselling to support my clients. I hold particular interest in working with people to overcome stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma and alcohol and drug issues so they can start to get the most of their life's journey.
I am committed to offering a warm and safe space for my clients to feel comfortable and to develop a trusting and positive relationship with me, which I believe is the important foundation for change to take place. My clients are able to gain insight to their circumstances and I assist them as a supportive guide to empower them to realise this.
I tailor each session with my clients through understanding their personal needs and goals. I incorporate various contemporary models of counselling into my practice, including: Person-Centred Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, A Trauma Informed Approach, Mindfulness and Meditation.
