Hi, I am Jason and at Stronger Self Psychotherapy and Counselling I recognise that throughout our lives we all have struggles and difficulties. There are times we need support and someone to work with us on our challenges. It takes courage to seek out help when you need it and I am glad you have looked at this entry as a possible place to find support.
I work within a psychodynamic self-psychology framework to support clients to non-judgmentally explore their challenges, be with them to sit with difficult emotions and work collaboratively with them to make the changes they want to make in their life. I have a particular focus on helping clients who have experienced trauma.
When working with clients, I recognise they are the experts on their lives. This means I would aim to understand your challenges from within the context of your experience, offering curious exploration of your emotions and relationships, and supporting you to find the solutions that work best for you.
