We all struggle at certain times in our lives, looking after ourselves can mean reaching out for support. As a counsellor, I help people feel better within themselves and improve their mental health and well being. Do you feel overwhelmed, anxious, like you are no longer yourself? Life's challenges often feel like a lot to deal with, leaving you exhausted, burnt out and low in self esteem. Imagine if there was a way through these challenges, a way to manage your anxiety, deal with overwhelm and work towards your ideal way of feeling. I would love to chat with you about what is going on and how we can start a shift.

Whatever you are currently finding challenging - anxiety, depression, trauma, despair and disappointments, relationship difficulties, parenting or grief, it is hard to respond creatively when you feel stuck or overwhelmed. My aim is to listen with care to what you have to say about your own particular challenges and to help you understand what is holding you back - this opens up new possibilities. I have worked as a psychotherapist for over 15 years. I work face to face with children, adolescents and adults in my practice in Geelong and offer telehealth counselling to adults via Skype and telephone.

I have over 20 years experience using EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). This science-based practical technique can directly calm the emotional area of the brain, so combining it with more conventional therapies like CBT and Mindfulness makes them more effective.

I work with school-aged children, adolescents and adults experiencing stress, symptoms of anxiety and depression, and relationship difficulties. I am attentive to each individual's lived experience and recognise that although relational difficulties (with self and other) are shared human experiences, the ways in which they manifest in each person is entirely unique. My approach is therefore rooted in a deep curiosity about the uniqueness of each individual.
