My goal is to help you get your bearings. In order to figure out how to move forward, we have to consider the past so we can orient to the present. It's like using a compass! It's a great tool if you know where you currently are and how you got there. Figuring out how your experiences have affected your behavioural patterns allows you to grow and leave behind what no longer serves you. I believe that people have all the answers within them—it's just a matter of asking the right questions!
I use Internal Family Systems therapy in a lot of the work that I do, as I find this approach to be effective in getting to the internal parts of people who need the most attention and care.
