I work with individuals and couples. My counselling areas of interest include life transitions, grief and loss, spirituality, relationship issues, pregnancy and postpartum, anxiety and depression, and addiction.
Since we naturally tend to focus on our challenges, I make it a priority to highlight your strengths, opportunities, and growth. I have a Master of Social Work and am a trained EMDR therapist. I work from an anti-oppressive lens and incorporate parts work, CBT, and somatic approaches.
As a therapist, I believe that you are the expert on you and my role is to guide and support you. Together, we will co-create what therapy looks like for you. I believe tools to help us cope and heal are everywhere- nature, laughter, intuition, moving our body, journalling, etc.- and so I pull from all of these during sessions.
