I offer support to women experiencing symptoms from trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. If you are finding times of transition (marriage/divorce/empty nest/peri-menopause/menopause) challenging or you are feeling stuck, lonely or unfulfilled, then I welcome the chance to listen and support you in moving forward. Together, we can look at issues and choose the tools/techniques that will cause healthy change and balance.
I offer a warm, empathic listening style, and a non-judgemental, safe space where my clients can be assured of confidentiality and compassion. At this time, I work with adult women and offer in-person appointments in my comfortable counselling office, online appointments or telephone sessions. I look forward to supporting you in regaining balance and joy.
My education and experience in business and fine arts, as well as a teaching career both in England and Nova Scotia, has honed my interest in working with people and listening to their stories. Counselling has given me the satisfaction of using my life experience and specialized skills to help clients move into a healthier, happier place in their lives.
