Hi, I'm Karrie. I am a passionate Registered Psychotherapist for individuals presenting with a variety of mental health concerns such anxiety, mood, and are having difficulty regulating their emotions. Although most of my work has been focused with children’s mental health, I can help support all individuals including children, youth, adolescents and adults who are struggling to regulate emotions and cope with daily stressors. I specialize in issues related to anxiety, mood, ADHD and behaviours and can offer strategies related to parenting, relationships and improving mental well being.
I believe that all situations are unique to a person. I will utilize an integration of evidence-based practices utilizing Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution and Strength Based approaches as well as others that may be appropriate to meet your needs from an anti-oppressive trauma informed lens.
