I am a master’s level MA in Counselling Psychology practicum student qualified to practice at Selah Counselling and Consulting and Grow Well Counselling under the clinical supervision of Jessica Heidebrecht, MSW, RSW. My passion for entering this field is driven by the unconditional positive regard I have for others which developed from experiencing firsthand how past wounds or current circumstances can keep us spiralling in a vicious circle as we journey through this sometimes difficult and demanding world. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported.
My academic expertise and therapeutic skills have equipped me with evidence-based practices to help you feel empowered to move towards personal growth and well-being with a defined sense of purpose. While predominantly using a Cognitive Behavioral approach, I recognize the need to incorporate other interventions to meet individual needs.
